About the game

This game was made just for and just for me to get a feel of how to make games with unity. It is a 2d top-down, wave-based, shooter with 5 enemies to battle. This game took me 10 days to build and took a long time to publish because I forgot my laptop on a month and a half long vacation. Note the music bar in the options menu is useless. Also this game gets harder with each wave of this game.

Tips for Surviving in the game

• Cyan enemies can explode at close range and can shoot missiles at long range, so shoot at mid-range
• Blue and Red enemies shoot at you at a normal pace but are a problem when they are big numbers. So, try cut them down as fast as you can
• Purple can explode and can-do crazy amounts of damage when you get too close. So, take them out at long range
• Orange enemies are the easiest enemies to worry about since they just shoot missiles at a slow pace. So, just shoot them at mid to long-range
• Also, you can shoot bullets and missiles to destroy them so that they do not hit you

 Directions to  download the game

• Download .zip file
• Place in a folder on you desktop
• Right click > Extract Here
  
• Double click on Escape from the Lab.exe
  

Mac

If the game doesn't work after unzipping, try to use another unarchiver program. The Unarchiver is one for example.

Linux

Right click > Properties > Permissions and tick "Allow this application to run as a program"
